Here are a few photographs of the installation, Melke Tenner (Milk Teeth), that was part of the recent Shadow Tracing exhibition. I set out to create something that would work in harmony with the concrete and stone architecture of the surrounding WWII bunkers. These shapes also resemble another nearby relic of the Nazi occupation of Norway, "Hitler's teeth", a group of concrete blocks designed to prevent Allied forces from making landfall. My forms are cast from empty milk cartons, so the title has a delicious double meaning, haha.
